- for double bass, conductor-mute for orchestra musicians
- tube made of soft plastic
- the mute remains on the instrument also when not in use
- simply push mute forward on the the bridge
- slightly stronger effect than with the Tourte-mutes
The Roth-Sihon can be attached easily:
Take
the right side of the mute between thumb and index finger and insert
the left side of the mute nearly in the middle between bridge and
tailpiece between the D- and G-string. Pull the mute slightly to the
right, whereby the D-string places between plastic tube and lower left
wire loop. Push the right side of the mute down over the G-string, so
the G-string can place automatically between plastic tube and right wire
loop. The mute is now placed correctly and is ready for use.
