Bearbeitung für 4 Kontrabässe von Stefan Schäfer. Schwierigkeistgrad: mittel.
Finally the famous Ave Maria can be played by four double basses with piano accompagnement! Finding the best possible register for the bass quartet Schäfer transposed the Ave Maria to F-major (alternatively to G-major for solo tuning). So Bass 1 is able to play comfortably in thumb position, while bass 2 and 4 evolve Gounods ideas.
A solemn piece ideal for ceremonial concerts!
